The room was a dump—old furniture and the bathroom sink was barely hanging on. The noise from the ice machine kept me up all night. Definitely not worth the money.

The outdoor swimming pool was such a blast! I lounged in the sun, soaking up every moment. The friendly vibe from the staff made it even more enjoyable!

I absolutely loved how this hotel is just a short stroll away from McKinley Park which is only about 900 meters down the road making it perfect to unwind or enjoy a morning walk and within about 500 meters you can explore Sutter's Fort State Historic Park which adds a touch of history to your visit and there are plenty of dining options nearby like KFC just a couple of blocks away and OBO' Italian Table & Bar also really close making it easy to grab a bite after a long day of exploring but the hotel could really use a bit of renovation as parts of the building are showing their age.

Front desk staff, especially a woman named Elisa, displayed a terrible attitude and denied a room change. The place was crawling with roaches, and the shower didn’t work. I even had to show Elisa the roaches I killed. Breakfast boxes ran out, and Wi-Fi was down for our entire stay. The lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance was shocking. While the bed was somewhat comfortable, it felt like a gamble with my health. Definitely a buyer-beware situation.

First off, the heating and air conditioning in the room were top-notch. It was easy to adjust the temperature to our liking, which was a huge plus. The free toiletries provided were pretty basic but did the job, so no complaints there. Now, when it comes to the amenities, we were a bit disappointed. There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a bummer for us caffeine lovers. The flat-screen TV was there, but the picture quality was a bit spotty at times. On the bright side, the room was spacious and clean when we checked in, which is always a good start to any stay. the bed was not the most comfortable - it felt a bit lumpy and uneven, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. One thing that really stood out was the lack of a proper breakfast area. We were looking forward to grabbing a quick bite in the morning, but unfortunately, there was no continental breakfast as advertised. our experience at Midtowner Hotel, Surestay Collection By Best Western had its ups and downs. While the room was decent and the amenities were satisfactory, there were definitely areas that could use some improvement. Just thought I'd share my thoughts with you!

We hit up the State Fairgrounds and the convenience was off the charts. Perfect for party vibes with my friends. The location was clutch for our young, fun crew!
Could use a better hangout spot for young peeps like a rooftop bar or chill lounge area.

I should have checked the reviews first. The issue with no remote for the TV was minor compared to finding dead bugs in the room. The cleanliness left much to be desired; I hesitated to sleep in that bed. The lack of breakfast options compounded the disappointment. The pool was downright alarming, with a thick layer of green slime. the receptionist was exceptionally kind and attentive, a beacon of decency amidst the chaos. it’s clear that you get what you pay for here. For a slight increase in budget, better options abound. Some things should never be overlooked, even in a budget situation.

The bed was far from comfortable, showing uneven wear with one side soft and tall while the other was firm and short. Unpleasant dips made sleeping difficult. The room's musty smell didn't help, and the lack of a working smoke alarm was concerning. The bathroom had decent water pressure, but it lacked basic essentials like towels and toiletries. The TV didn’t work properly, and the maintenance staff was unresponsive. Free parking was a plus, but the overall cleanliness of the area left much to be desired. Accessibility was an issue with broken elevators on the third floor.

An ideal setting for business and leisure travelers alike. After a day exploring, Red Lion Inn & Suites Sacramento is an excellent choice. I enjoyed taking a swim in the pool at this completely non-smoking motel.
I loved finding drug containers in my room; such a pleasant surprise.

The convenient location and family-friendly atmosphere made it a hit with our kids. With exciting rides and delicious treats, it was a memorable experience for the whole family.

great location - close to downtown. ihop and starbucks nearby. maids come every day. the motel is pet-friendly - no pet deposit.

The hotel's location was convenient, near the freeway, which made it easy to access. Some of the staff members were friendly and accommodating during our stay. these were s of our experience.
Our room was a disappointment from the start. The beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with rusty fixtures and a door that wouldn't even close properly.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the convenient location close to the freeway and various restaurants. The room was spacious, allowing for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the early check-in option was a nice touch for our holiday trip.
The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The strong odors in the stairways and rooms, resembling urine and cigarettes, were off-putting.

I had a pleasant stay at a budget-friendly hotel in Sacramento's Midtown area. The location was perfect for our needs, being close to everything we came for in the capital city. The rooms were comfortable and equipped with amenities like flat-screen TVs and air conditioning. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my overnight stay. The on-site car park made it convenient for us to bring our own vehicle. it was a great value for money and met all our basic needs.
This didn't affect the overall quality of our stay.
